Author's Viewpoint at Ersula's History Shop - Dr. Khalilah Camacho-Ali

Dr. Khalilah Camacho-Ali is an exquisite woman who is loved and admired by everyone who comes in contact with her. Born in Chicago, her father Sadru Din (a prominent lieutenant under Elijah Muhmmad) and her is mother Aminah Ali. (a temple security officer.) At age 17 she married Muhammed Ali becoming the first couple to develop a boxing legacy. Together, they built the Ali legacy and most notably, designed and established the Muhammed Ali training camp in Deer Lake, Pennsylvania.

Scholars note that she played a nuanced role by guiding her husband and contributing to community success. Khalilah is the 1" family of Muhammed Ali. They have three daughters and one son. Her last husband was Rene Gonzales Camacho with whom she had two daughters who are also muslim.

As an award winning author she penned the 'Color To Learn' series that teaches children etiquette and manners. She has visited over 100 countries as a motivational speaker, speaking at churches, mosques, colleges and universities. She has positively impacted the lives of so many who are extremely grateful for her influence.

She is an acclaimed actor, producer, author, aviator (licensed pilot) and motivational speaker. She is universally known as the former wife of "The Greatest of All Time" boxer Muhammed Ali, who partnered his success during the early and most pivotal part of his career.

She has numerous accomplishments, recognitions and acknowledgments. Her professional and social landscape spans a broad spectrum of astonishing hard work, from earning a 9th degree black belt under Jim Kelly, Steve Saunders and Bruce Lee; to empowering humanity through speeches, convocations and authoring her riveting novel 'Undefeated' that provides and intimate account of triumphs and challenges she faced with her Husband.
